Анотація: Стаття присвячена проблемам розвитку дистанційної освіти. Вказана проблематика є особливо актуальною сьогодні, коли у зв’язку з карантинними заходами, викликаним пандемією коронавірусу, дистанційна освіта стає фактично єдиною можливою формою організації навчального процесу. В цьому зв’язку розкриваються основні переваги дистанційного навчання, серед яких виділяється можливість забезпечити людині умови для безперервної освіти протягом усього життя. Також зазначається, що здійснення дистанційного навчання потребує новітніх технічних засобів і передусім тих, які ґрунтуються на інтерактивних мультимедійних технологіях. Подається огляд основних технічних ресурсів дистанційного навчання. Серед цих ресурсів особлива увага приділяється навчальним програмам і відмічається, що розробка навчальних програм для дистанційного навчання є однією з найскладніших проблем, вирішення якої потребує значних матеріальних та інтелектуальних витрат. Поряд із тим підкреслюється, що досягнення належної результативності дистанційного навчання є неможливим без сумлінного ставлення до нього студентів і викладачів, які мають досконало володіти технічними засобами використовуваними в навчальному процесі. При цьому важливе місце у статті відводиться розгляду значення праці викладачів, розкривається сутність методів освітньої діяльності заснованих на системній взаємодії та модульного навчання, що мають застосовуватись у процесі дистанційного навчання. Відтак зазначається, що у дистанційній формі навчання існують великі, нерозкриті до цього часу, можливості, на виявлення яких має бути спрямовано подальше вдосконалення дистанційної освіти.
Серед перспективних напрямів розвитку дистанційної освіти відмічається об’єднання закладів вищої освіти у центри дистанційного навчання. Надалі у статті формулюються підходи до забезпечення розвитку дистанційної освіти в Україні, що має забезпечити якість підготовки кадрів з характеристиками відповідними вимогам економіки та суспільства знань за якими майбутнє.
Abstract: The article is devoted to the problems of distance education development. This issue is especially relevant today, when due to quarantine measures caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, distance education is actually the only possible form of organization of the educational process. In this regard, the main advantages of distance learning are revealed, among which is the ability to provide a person with conditions for lifelong learning. It is also noted that the implementation of distance learning requires the latest technical means and especially those based on interactive multimedia technologies. An overview of the main technical resources of distance learning is given. Among these resources, special attention is paid to training programs and it is noted that the development of training programs for distance learning is one of the most difficult problems, the solution of which requires significant material and intellectual costs. At the same time, it is emphasized that achieving the proper effectiveness of distance learning is impossible without the conscientious attitude of students and teachers, who must have a thorough knowledge of the technical means used in the educational process. An important place in the article is given to the importance of teachers, reveals the essence of methods of educational activities based on systematic interaction and modular learning, which should be used in the process of distance learning. Therefore, it is noted that in the form of distance learning there are great, still undiscovered, opportunities to identify which should be aimed at further improvement of distance education. Among the promising areas of distance education is the unification of higher education institutions into distance learning centers. In the future, the article formulates approaches to ensuring the development of distance education in Ukraine, which should ensure the quality of training with characteristics that meet the requirements of the economy and knowledge society for which the future.
