Збірник наукових праць, «Вчені записки» дотримується політики відкритого доступу (Open Access).
Усі статті розміщуються безстроково і безкоштовно відразу після виходу номера. Повнотекстовий доступ в режимі реального часу до наукових статей журналу представлений на офіційному сайті журналу у розділі Архів номерів. відповідає визначенню відкритого доступу від BOAI. Ліцензійна політика журналу сумісна з переважною більшістю політик відкритого доступу та архівування матеріалів.

Усі статті, опубліковані у збірнику «Вчені записки», ліцензуються за умовами Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY). Це дозволяє вільне використання, поширення та відтворення матеріалів у будь-якому форматі за умови належного посилання на автора та джерело.
Авторам дозволяється розміщувати як препринти, так і постпринти своїх рукописів, а також остаточну PDF-версію, у будь-яких інституційних чи галузевих репозиторіях за їхнім вибором, за умови належного бібліографічного посилання на «Вчені записки».
The collection of scientific works, "Scientific Notes" adheres to the policy of open access (Open Access).
All articles are posted indefinitely and free of charge immediately after issue. Real-time full-text access to the journal's scientific articles is available on the journal's official website in the Issue Archive section.
This meets BOAI's definition of open access. The journal's licensing policy is compatible with the vast majority of open access and material archiving policies.
Licensing Policy
All articles published in the collection "Scientific Notes" are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This allows the free use, distribution, and reproduction of the materials in any format, provided that the author and source are properly cited.
Authors are allowed to deposit both pre-print and post-print versions of their manuscripts, as well as the publisher’s final PDF, in institutional or subject repositories of their choice, provided that proper citation to Scientific Notes is included.
