Анотація: Досліджено теоретичні засади формування та розвитку інноваційної діяльності підприємств у контексті зростання ролі фінансових ризиків в умовах економічної невизначеності. Обґрунтовано, що сучасний етап розвитку економіки характеризується посиленням впливу інновацій як ключового чинника забезпечення конкурентоспроможності та довгострокового розвитку підприємств, водночас супроводжуючись підвищеним рівнем невизначеності результатів інноваційних процесів, нестабільністю зовнішнього середовища та зростанням складності прийняття управлінських рішень. Проаналізовано наукові підходи до визначення сутності категорій «інновація» та «інноваційний розвиток підприємства», що дозволило виявити їх багатогранність та відсутність єдиного універсального трактування. Встановлено, що інновація розглядається як результат, процес і інструмент підвищення ефективності діяльності підприємства, тоді як інноваційний розвиток характеризується як комплексний, багаторівневий і цілеспрямований процес змін, спрямований на зростання економічного потенціалу, формування конкурентних переваг та адаптацію до динамічних умов функціонування. Особливу увагу приділено дослідженню фінансових ризиків інноваційної діяльності, які виникають унаслідок невизначеності зовнішнього середовища, значних інвестиційних витрат, тривалих періодів окупності інноваційних проєктів, а також обмеженості інформаційної бази для прийняття рішень. Запропоновано інтерпретувати фінансові ризики як динамічну економічну категорію, що відображає ступінь невизначеності результатів інноваційних процесів і водночас виступає інструментом адаптації підприємства до змін зовнішнього середовища. Доведено, що взаємозв’язок між інноваційною діяльністю та фінансовими ризиками має нелінійний характер: зростання рівня ризику може як стримувати інноваційну активність, так і стимулювати її через пошук більш ефективних управлінських рішень, оптимізацію структури фінансування та впровадження нових бізнес-моделей. Обґрунтовано доцільність інтеграції категорій інноваційного розвитку та фінансових ризиків у єдину систему управління підприємством. За результатами дослідження визначено необхідність формування інтегрованих підходів до оцінювання фінансових ризиків інноваційних підприємств, що враховують специфіку інноваційного циклу, рівень економічної невизначеності, галузеві особливості та стратегічні пріоритети розвитку. Отримані результати можуть бути використані для подальшого розвитку методичного інструментарію оцінювання та управління фінансовими ризиками інноваційної діяльності підприємств, а також для підвищення обґрунтованості стратегічних управлінських рішень.
Abstract: The paper examines the theoretical foundations of the formation and development of enterprise innovation activity in the context of the growing role of financial risks under conditions of economic uncertainty. It is substantiated that the current stage of economic development is characterized by the increasing influence of innovation as a key factor in ensuring the competitiveness and long-term development of enterprises, while simultaneously being accompanied by a higher level of uncertainty regarding the outcomes of innovation processes, instability of the external environment, and increasing complexity of managerial decision-making. Scientific approaches to defining the essence of the categories “innovation” and “innovative development of the enterprise” are analyzed, which made it possible to identify their multifaceted nature and the absence of a unified universal interpretation. It is established that innovation is considered as a result, a process, and a tool for improving enterprise performance, whereas innovative development is characterized as a complex, multi-level, and purposeful process of change aimed at increasing economic potential, creating competitive advantages, and adapting to dynamic operating conditions. Particular attention is paid to the study of financial risks associated with innovation activity, which arise due to uncertainty in the external environment, significant investment costs, long payback periods of innovation projects, as well as limited information available for decision-making. It is proposed to interpret financial risks as a dynamic economic category that reflects the degree of uncertainty in the outcomes of innovation processes and simultaneously serves as a tool for enterprise adaptation to changes in the external environment. It is proven that the relationship between innovation activity and financial risks is nonlinear: an increase in risk levels may both constrain innovation activity and stimulate it through the search for more effective managerial decisions, optimization of financing structures, and the implementation of new business models. The expediency of integrating the categories of innovative development and financial risks into a unified enterprise management system is substantiated. Based on the research results, the necessity of developing integrated approaches to assessing financial risks of innovative enterprises is identified, taking into account the specifics of the innovation cycle, the level of economic uncertainty, industry characteristics, and strategic development priorities. The obtained results can be used for further development of methodological tools for assessing and managing financial risks of innovation activity, as well as for improving the validity of strategic managerial decisions.
