Abstract: Urgency of the research. The article is devoted to the scientific and practical substantiation of the newest model of Ukraine’s presence in international economic relations. The relevance of this research is determined by the necessity to transform the paradigm of Ukraine’s participation in international economic relations through enabling national businesses to reach a new level of competitive value. This, in turn, will contribute to addressing the urgent needs of the international community under conditions of global transformations and escalating security challenges. The implementation of an innovative model is expected to facilitate the resolution of key issues related to peacebuilding and the economic well-being of the nation within the framework of a renewed geo-economic model of economic diplomacy. Economic diplomacy of states is undergoing a qualitative transformation, progressing to a new level of perception and implementation. In the context of a crisis in international communications, economic rationality and practical utility become decisive factors that ensure recognition and interaction among actors in the global economic system. In this regard, the “Code of Uniqueness” project is designed to fundamentally transform Ukraine’s export specialization, promote a high-reputation presence in the global economic system, and strengthen the country’s competitive position in international markets. The objective of this study is to develop the “Code of Uniqueness of Ukraine” project aimed at ensuring the effective participation of the state in the transformation of the global economic system, as well as meeting its internal economic and security needs. An additional objective is to identify effective instruments of economic diplomacy capable of facilitating the scaling of this project within the system of international economic relations. The uniqueness of the presence of actors within the global economic system is grounded in their intrinsic value, particularly in the state’s awareness and recognition of its own strengths–core competencies capable of satisfying the current demand of international markets for goods, services, ideas, and resources.

The “Code of Uniqueness of Ukraine,” proposed by the author, envisages at the initial stage of implementation the formation of a new international specialization across several strategic directions. First, it involves the development of services, goods, and dual-use products within the military-industrial complex. Second, it includes the initiation of an international cybersecurity platform in response to the accelerating digitalization of the global environment. Third, it envisages the transformation of Ukraine’s agricultural presence in international trade and economic relations toward a value proposition that serves as a guarantee of quality and contributes to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the global population. Thus, the article substantiates three initial components of the “Code of Uniqueness of Ukraine” project, namely: 1) Global Security; 2) Cyber Security; and 3) Agro-Art of Health & Quality Life. The implementation of this project should be comprehensive and large-scale, involving all actors of the national economy across different levels of governance and economic activity. With regard to the external scaling of the renewed model of Ukraine’s specialization within the system of international economic relations, the author argues for assigning a key role to the actors of economic diplomacy. Based on an analysis of the effectiveness of national bilateral and multilateral diplomatic practices, a set of instruments has been identified that are capable of ensuring the effective promotion of this model at the international level. In the context of the transformation of the global order as an external condition, as well as Ukraine’s exposure to military aggression as a critical internal factor, the formation of a new model of the country’s presence in the global economic system becomes particularly relevant. Such a model should ensure, on the one hand, internal economic and national security, and, on the other hand, contribute to shaping a positive external perception of Ukraine as a highly competitive participant in global markets and multinational projects of strategic importance. The “Code of Uniqueness of Ukraine” project is viewed as a longterm state initiative aimed at ensuring the a worthy position within the system of international economic relations. Moving away from a lower-value model focused on the passive satisfaction of external demand and transitioning toward a specialization based on newly acquired competitive advantages establishes a strong strategic position for the state. This approach enables Ukraine to actively participate in shaping new rules of the global economic system, while ensuring national economic security and the effective realization of its national economic interests.
